The SMART CHIP^TM

Each Pacific Bell Wireless phone uses a SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) card or "Smart Chip" that stores your phone number, frequently called numbers, billing information, and specific phone features on a computer chip. The Smart Card is a convenient, small card that houses the Smart Chip, or brains of the Phone.

GSM or Global Systems for Mobile Communications - GSM is the international digital standard utilized by Pacific Bell Wireless' PCS network.
